Zanzar acquired 100% stake in Palagina.

Zanzar, controlled by the European investment group 21 Invest founded by Alessandro Benetton, active in the production of window accessories (insect screens, solar blinds, shutters, etc.) has finalised the acquisition of Palagina, a manufacturer of insect screens and solar blinds in the “premium” segment.

Palagina, historical company founded by the Francalanci family in Fucecchio (Florence) in 1981, is active in the production of insect screens and solar blinds, both for indoor and outdoor, with a well-established product range and a distribution network widespread in Northern and Central Italy.

With this acquisition, Zanzar continues its development path to become a “one-stop-shop” in the windows market, integrating a premium brand in its product portfolio with significant cross-selling opportunities, both in Italy and abroad.

Zanzar, based in Grottaglie (Taranto) and with 35 years of history in the industry, was at first focused on the production of insect screens and then enlarged its products offer to roller shutters, blinds, awnings, pergolas and darks, also thanks to many acquisitions of competitors.

Zanzar group has a relevant presence on foreign markets with over 30% of sales generated abroad and, thanks to the integration of Palagina, expects to achieve a turnover of € 130 million in 2022.

Credem Euromobiliare Private Banking acted as exclusive financial advisor to Palagina.
